Cleaning cycles shouldnt be necessary

Only a year and a half old and despite our best efforts using the suggested required tub cleaning we have still ruined many articles of clothing due to soap sludge building up under the drum. I have had to disassemble the machine twice already to clean the tub. Working with Customer Service to rectify.

Ruining my clothes

This washer is Ruining all my clothes I wash everything on Delicate. But it spins so ferociously that all my clothes come out so wrinkled. It just ruined a pair of pants that no amount of ironing can fix. I am So Mad I contacted customer service a few weeks ago via chat but I just kept getting disconnected. They didnt recontact me even though I had given them all my contact information. So I guess theyre not going to do anything or theres nothing they can do.

Terrible water fill feature

I have had this was for about a month and I am pretty satisfied with it the one thing that is terribly wrong with it is you should be able to select how much water you want in the tub. If you let the sensor fill it doesnt even cover the clothes at all so you have to run every load on Max fill which is a huge waste of water. The engineers Screwed this desk up terribly. But other than that its good rate it 3.5 stars

After first trying another brand name top-load washer I replaced it with this LG and so far am very happy with it. My goal was to get a machine that would cover the clothes with water yet not over fill. First load was blankets washed on Bedding setting with Deep Fill. Using these options it did exactly what I wanted. My experience has been that the Normal setting on the machines Ive tried greatly limits the amount of water used. I am relieved to finally have a working washing machine that washes to my standards and gives me confidence that the clothes are clean. I received a sweepstakes entry form for my honest review.

So far I love it Only had it for a month but love the large tub glass soft close lid wifi notifications when the cycle is complete. LG used to have a bad reputation some years ago but have since improved. Our old washer died mid wash. We went to Lowes and they had this one in stock. As a family of 5 with 2 teens in sports we needed a washer. Its so huge compared to our old one I can do twice the amount of laundry in the same amount of time. Ive heard new washers take longer for energy efficient but this one can do a normal load in half an hour And I love that it connects to my phone and tells me when its complete so I dont forget I was doing laundry. It also is very quiet compared to our old washer

We had the washing machine for a month and it started leaking. Apparently it came from the manufacturer with out a gasket that kept water in the tub. Have to get it replaced since the part is unavailable. LG is going to replace the unit due to the lack of the part. We do appreciate that.

Many other reviewers seem to be very happy with the model. But like the other poor reviews we find this model frequently does not add enough water leaving clothes dry and unclean unless using Deep Wash/fill. This is not user error: weve watched the LG video were loading correctly and not over- or under-loading using the correct type and qty of detergent no soft water etc. Are there any prior cases with this issue in which LG asked the consumer to contact them for further support that contain an update from the consumer stating they were in fact helped and had the problem rectified? If so what was the remedy?

Does not wash properly. Regular soil does not get removed. Lint debris and detergent are regularly still on clothes after the wash cycle is finished. Several phone calls emails and service calls and nothing has helped. Terrible service from LG.

10 months old and it broke while I was washing a thin mattress pad. The machine moved with such force that it made a huge dent in the dryer that was Also 10 months old and made both unable to be repaired. My Wawas voided simply because I washed a mattress pad. Ive been washing mattress pads in my washer since 1974 and never had a machine act the way this one did.

My washer was delivered in May 2023. Since then I have found the only thing this washer is good for is washing bedding and comforters. The simple things like regular clothes washing has MUCH to be desired There is NEVER enough water to get all the clothes wet most if the clothes are 3/4 out of the water the entire wash cycle leaves soap on the clothes resulting in needing to wash again or be forced to fill the entire tub with water...not efficient Have chatted with support talked to support and I get..this is a high efficiency washer . THAT answer does NOT address the problem with the machine. I even wrote the president was even promised a phone call within the hour...HAVE NOT HEARD FROM EITHER The lack of support is astonishing This product should be pulled
